Post date: Oct 10, 2013 4:38:42 PM

Central Birch Bay area residents and all other interested citizens are invited to attend the BBWARM meeting on October 16 to learn about the subwatershed master planning process and provide information on surface water problems between Birch Bay Lynden Road and Bay Road. Problems identified from public input will be added to problems identified through a stormwater systems inventory and flow analysis then incorporated into the Central South Subwatershed Master Plan. Stormwater capital projects evaluated in this plan will be ranked and incorporated into the overall BBWARM capital improvement project list. Public participation is important to make sure all known problems are evaluated and considered as future capital projects. Click here to go to the subwatershed master planning page.

The meeting will be held from 6 to 8 p.m.at the Cannery Day Lodge in Semiahmoo Park on Semiahmoo Parkway in Blaine. This park is located on Semiahmoo Spit approximately 0.6 miles north of the regular meeting location at Station 62, 9001 Semiahmoo Parkway. The meeting agenda, packet, and map of meeting location are available on the Advisory Committee page.
