What is a Bioswale? New Educational Sign Installed in the Cottonwood Neighborhood

Birch Bay residents are invited to take a walk in the Cottonwood Neighborhood and learn more about what BBWARM is doing to keep water in Birch Bay clean. A bioswale was built at the corner of Maple Crest and Seaview in 2013 as an important component of the Cottonwood Neighborhood Drainage Improvements Project. A new educational sign was installed in June with information on how this bioswale works to remove pollution from stormwater.
