October 16 Preliminary Design Review Meeting for Beachway Drive & Fern/Park Stormwater Improvement Project

The BBWARM Advisory Committee is hosting a public meeting on October 16th for Cottonwood Beach area residents to solicit their comments on engineering options for a stormwater capital project scheduled for construction on Park Street, Fern Street, and lower Beachway Drive next summer. The purpose of this project is to provide water quality treatment and alleviate localized flooding. Staff from Tetra Tech will explain different engineering design options being considered. Interested citizens and property owners in this area are encouraged to attend this meeting to learn more and provide input on the design alternatives. The meeting will be held from 5 to 6 p.m.at the Cannery Day Lodge in Semiahmoo Park on Semiahmoo Parkway in Blaine. This park is located on Semiahmoo Spit approximately 0.6 miles north of the regular meeting location at Station 62, 9001 Semiahmoo Parkway.
