Please consider attending the citizen science intertidal training held at Birch Bay State Park this year!

Citizen Science Intertidal Training:

Saturday, April 29th from 12 - 4:30 PM
Heron Center at Birch Bay State Park

If you're interested in participating in the intertidal monitoring at Cherry Point, please add as many of these dates to your calendar as possible. Expect each survey to last up to 5 hours from start time.

2017 Intertidal Monitoring Schedule at Cherry Point:

• Saturday, May 27th at 9:30 AM - Pt. Whitehorn Park (+ Sea Star Surveys)
• Sunday, June 25th at 9:30 AM - Barnacle Rock
• Friday, July 21st at 6:30 AM - Intalco site
• Sunday, July 23rd at 8:30 AM - Neptune Beach (+ Sea Star Surveys)

And, if you're interested in getting a little more recognition for citizen science participation, consider joining our North Sound Stewards Program. Only 50 hours of training/survey time are required over the course of 12 months and ties you in to other local citizen science opportunities.
